Dear Parents,

The school will formally start its Club Activities from Wednesday 18th April, 2012 onwards. The dates for the club have been

2012 before the student is enrolled in the club.

All students must choose one activity. I sincerely suggest that you permit your child to choose an activity that she/he shows interest to
pursue. Do make sure that if you enroll the child in the club he/she is regular in it and involves in its activities completely. In case the student
wants to switch from one club to another, she/he will be permitted to do so just once in a session planned and the parent has to send a written request
with the child to the concerned Class Teacher. In such cases, the supply and material money collected for the earlier choice will not be refunded or
adjusted towards the alternative club chosen. Parents have to pay the material/supply fee for the new club chosen.

The school and its management are genuinely trying to expose the students to various learning opportunities, we appreciate Parent’s participation,
positive approach and support for our efforts to be gratifying. So once again I request you to be “team players” in building an organization that will
enable us to achieve the high standards that we aim and you envision for your child. The school welcomes Parent participation and truly appreciates if
any Parent has the capacity to teach children a hobby or skill that they have mastered on a voluntary basis. Alternatively if they can recommend others
who can teach students a skill or hobby for a nominal fee we are open to such suggestions and recommendations too. But all such instructors will have
to be females who will be able to give us time on Wednesdays.

Kindly sign the counterfoil attached to the school diary and returns the same along with the club fee before Saturday 14th April 2012.

Regards,

ASIS

Kindness To Animals

Little children, never give
Pain to things that feel and live;

Let the gentle robin come
For the crumbs you save at home;
As his meat you throw along
He’ll repay you with a song.

Never hurt the timid hare
Peeping from her green grass lair,
Let her come and sport and play
On the lawn at close of day.

The little lark goes soaring high
To the bright windows of the sky,
Singing as if it were always spring,
And fluttering on an untired wing -
Oh! Let him sing his happy song,
Nor do these gentle creatures wrong.

If I Could Fly

If I had a pair of wings, with which to fly,
I’d soar straight away, up into the sky.

I’d carry a brush,
and paints in colours bright,
So I could paint
every fluffy cloud in sight!

I’d paint them purple
and yellow and green-
They’d be the prettiest
you’ve ever seen!

I’d paint rainbows in the sky
every single day,
So I can watch them
when I work and play.

And when the moon and
stars come out at night-
Perhaps I’ll paint them too,
for my delight!

Dear Parents ,

We at ASIS have been always focused and committed to  adopt  innovative techniques for teaching your wards. In today’s modern world trends are changing at every waking minute. So, students need to be introduced to face these changing trends and equip themselves to the competition and challenges in all aspects of learning to acquire knowledge.

Middle East Math’s Challenge is one such excellent way of enhancing the math abilities of students. This is the region’s biggest online education event. Once registered the children will be playing curriculum mathematics and competing with other students across the globe, who may have logged in the same instant as the students at ASIS.

Your child has been registered through ASIS and she/he   will get a login id and password from the school. Using this id and password your child can  play or compete with students around the globe. The great advantage is that students can play from anywhere if  internet facility is available. All she/he should do is to go online to the website www.middleeastmathschallenge.com and  login with the id provided by us then they are ready to  start up. Students learn simple mathematics in the form of games to enhance their math and logic skills .

Once the students have crossed the first level, they can continue to proceed to the next levels . Online digital certificates will be awarded for all those who participate in the event and platinum certificates would be available for completing the levels. However, the school will not be responsible for providing the certificates, parents have to get these printed at their own cost.

The website will open for students from 23rd October 2012 onwards for practice. However, the matheletics event will be held on 6th and 7th November.

With best regards !
